Biography

Prof. Li Bin 李彬 received her Ph. D. in linguistics from the University of Florida and M.A. in applied linguistics from Beihang University. Prof. Li specializes in phonetics research and applications, while teaching undergraduate/postgraduate courses in linguistics and language studies. She was the 19th President of the Linguistics Society of Hong Kong (https://lshk.org), and now serves on regional and national professional associations on language education and linguistics research. Prof. Li is also appointed as Honorary Professor by The First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University (暨南大学第一附属医院), China.
