Congratulations! Let's give our spotlight to our LT PhD student, QING Hongbin, and Professor LIU Meichun, who received the "Best Paper Award" for the paper (#137) entitled, The Lifespan of Novel Usages in Three-Character Words: Predictions Using LLMs, at the 26th CLSW (Chinese Lexical Semantics Workshop) conference, 11-13 Jul 2025, in Hohhot, China.
Notably, Hongbin also received the Honorable Mention of Sun Dejin Young Scholar Thesis Award in IFOLCE-8 (International Forum on Linguistics and Chinese Education-8 Committee) on 7 April, for the paper co-authored with Prof. LIU Meijun and entitled, Detection and Prediction for Novel Lexical Usages with Large Language Models: The Case of Agent Nouns.
