CityU LT Students Provide Interpreting Service for Museum Event

Eight students (4 BATI, 2 MALS and 2 PhD) from the Department of Linguistics and Translation (LT), City University of Hong Kong, supervised by Dr Jackie Xiu Yan, provided simultaneous interpreting services in English, Cantonese and Mandarin for the exhibition and seminar “Lighthouses: Paradise Beyond City” (https://www.hkmaritimemuseum.org/event-details/Lighthouses-Paradise-Beyond-the-City) in Hong Kong Maritime Museum (HKMM). The event was co-organized by HKMM and Lighthouse Heritage Research and Connections Project, City University of Hong Kong on 22 May 2022. Prof Kit Chun Yu, Dr Cecilia Chan and Mr Kenneth Au were present at the event to support the students.
