IWoLP 2027 (6–8 Jan Hong Kong)
Call for Papers
The theme for IWoLP 2027 is “Language Production in the Age of Multilingualism and Generative AI”. Updated!
While the theme reflects Hong Kong's multicultural setting, we welcome all language production-related work and invite contributions addressing how language is produced and supported by cognitive, neural, and computational mechanisms.
Topics of interest include:
- Lexical selection and processing
- Syntactic encoding
- Phonological processing
- Speech articulation
- Bilingual language production
- Monitoring and control mechanisms
- Gesture and multimodal communication
- Language production disorders
In line with the conference objectives, the programme will provide an international platform for cutting-edge research. An online programme booklet and book of abstracts will be publicly available, and selected contributions may be invited for publication in a special issue of Language, Cognition and Neuroscience.
