FANG, Chengyu Alex
Biography
Professor Alex Chengyu Fang PhD, FRSA received his PhD degree from University College London. He is Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics and Translation and Director of the Halliday Centre for Intelligent Applications of Language Studies. He is a national expert in language resources certified by and representing China in the International Organisation for Standardisation, Secretary of ISO/TC37/SC4/WG2 for the semantic annotation of language resources, and Member of the China National Technical Committee for Standardization of Language Resources.
