Dear Colleagues and Students:
One of the best known phoneticians/phonologists, Professor John Ohala of the Department of Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley will visit the Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics at this university in November 2005. Professor Ohala will give three public lectures and preside in a series of the CTL Research Student Seminars on Phonetics. Details of his visit are available in the attached file. You are welcome to attend his lectures and take part in any of the activities.
