Dear Colleagues, As suggested by some of our colleagues, we are trying to incorporate into the departmental seminar series three CTL Colloquiums - ideally, it would be one for each of the three sections as well as two research student presentations. The colloquiums are meant to be an open forum where colleagues can discuss academic issues related to the reality of their teaching and research. To this end, I am writing to seek your support and, of course, topic proposals. I hope we can fill in these hours with some interesting and rewarding discussions. If possible, we would like to have the colloquiums in Weeks 7, 12 and 14, as usual in B7533 on Mondays from 4.30 to 6 pm. I would appreciate it if you could let me have your topic proposals two weeks before each colloquium week. That should give me enough time to make necessary preparations.
